Job summary
Malvern, Evesham and Pershore Talking Therapies team, is a busy
and expanding team who provide treatment to patients experiencing depression
and anxiety. The team includes High Intensity Therapists, Psychological
Wellbeing Practitioners and Relational Therapists who provide evidenced based
psychological interventions. We deliver treatment over the telephone, in
groups, face to face and using digital therapy options.
We have an exciting and rare opportunity following service
expansion to appoint a Clinical Lead to provide clinical leadership to the team.
The role of Clinical Lead suits a dynamic individual looking to use their CBT
knowledge, supervisory and leadership skills to guide and empower clinicians
and trainees within the team, and to support a culture of ongoing clinical
growth and excellence. We are looking for a self-motivated practitioner who is
able to inspire others.
The Post Holder will join a supportive and friendly team,
working closely with the Team Lead, and reporting to the Deputy Service Lead
Clinical. The Post is full- time and there will be a requirement to attend the
team base to help support with team connection on a regular basis.

Main duties of the job
The role includes but is not limited to
- Managing a small clinical caseload alongside
supervisory and leadership responsibilities for the team.
- Supporting clinicians and trainees within the team
with clinical growth and development, through supervision, training and
reflective practice, and being available
for mentoring, advice, and consultation on patients psychological care to all
clinicians and administrators on a daily basis.
- Following Talking Therapies guidance for the
provision of Clinical Supervision for the High Intensity Trainees and High
Intensity Therapists within the team as required for the supervision/governance
of staff, including
providing supervision of supervision to other High Intensity supervisors within
the team.
- Using KPIs, audits, and feedback to monitor the
quality of the clinical work completed within the team and address concerns
when identified to improve patient care.
- Providing
effective leadership and management to staff which promotes high performance
standards both individually and as a team, in the achievement of the Trusts
objectives and priorities.
- Achieving a high-quality clinical service by maximising the efforts of
the team and create an environment where colleagues feel valued, empowered and
supported.

- Qualification from Talking Therapies High Intensity course for adults in the modality required. Either Pgrad Dip High intensity CBT, High Intensity PCE-CfD, High Intensity IPT, High Intensity DIT, High Intensity CCfD
- Accredited with a recognised professional body BABCP, BACP, HCPC, UKCP
- Trained in supervision for the IAPT therapy required
- RFQ Level 7 Qualification (e.g. Pgrad Dip/MSC/Pgrad Cert) in Psychological therapy/Healthcare leadership/ relevant field.
- I understand that I will be asked to provide original certificates to verify my qualifications at point of offer

- NHS Leadership Academy Award in Healthcare Leadership
- IAPT long term conditions training
- Trained in additional NICE approved therapy for anxiety/depression.
