Job summary

We use the skills of our pharmacy staff, working as a team with Kingston Hospital, to provide a high quality, professional pharmacy service to rehab patients at Teddington Memorial Hospital in the borough of Richmond.

We are looking for an enthusiastic pharmacist to support our community services whilst we merge and become a new organisation with Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

Main duties of the job

Responsible for the delivery of clinical pharmacy services to the Community Teams within Hounslow and Richmond Community Healthcare Trust (HRCH) and in line with relevant Service Level Agreements agreed with the contracted community provider Your Healthcare CIC (YH)

Be ward based at Teddington Memorial Hospital, working in close association with GPs, Clinical Nurse Leads, Quality and Risk Leads, Medicines Management Lead and the Controlled Drug Accountable Officer- to provide and develop safe and effective systems and services across the organisation.

Provide professional pharmaceutical support to multidisciplinary community teams across Richmond and Kingston localities.

Support the Urgent Treatment Centre, Outpatient Departments and Rapid Response Teams at Teddington Memorial Hospital as directed by the senior pharmacist.

About us

The Trust provides a range of healthcare services to the population of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames.

Clinical Services Directorates have a wide range of responsibilities, including coordinating and delivering community primary care services on behalf of the Trust.

These healthcare services are delivered by staff in the community, including medical staff, paediatric therapists, therapy assistants, health visitors, specialist nurses, nurses, nursery nurses, paediatric phlebotomists and healthcare support workers with the support of administrative staff working in localities with GPs, other health professionals, early years, education, and social care professionals.
