Job summary

  • Exciting opportunity for a highly motivated band 6 paediatric nurse in our Children's Community Nursing Service.
  • Focus on acute conditions: short-term enteral feeding, IV antibiotics, oxygen therapy, wound care, and support for long-term conditions.
  • Collaboration with allied professionals, the wider multi-disciplinary team, social care, and local education providers

Main duties of the job

  • Seeking Band 6 children's nurses with motivation to work in our integrated Children's Community Nursing Service.
  • Requires the ability to work autonomously and within a collaborative nursing team.
  • Involvement in acute and long-term condition treatments, continuing care assessments, and support for clinical nurse specialists.
  • Special duties include supporting clinical nurse specialists in asthma, haemoglobinopathy, and continence care.
