Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated MSK physiotherapist to join our Hounslow MSK services as a band 7 MSK Physiotherapist.
The MSK service is made up of a large team of physiotherapists, including a consultant physiotherapist, and offers regular supervisions, teaching and appraisal. The service also has a hand injuries unit, MSK interface service, and women's health service.
You will be expected to supervise and teach staff, whilst also beinvolved in service improvement projects.
Candidates must be a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and hold a degree in physiotherapy.
Main duties of the job
To provide an expert and highly developed musculoskeletal assessment, diagnosis and appropriate onward management of patients presenting with chronic and acute musculoskeletal problems to the service referred via their GP or other health professional.
Deliver programmes of supported patient self-management, in ways that facilitate behavioural change, optimises individuals' physical activity, mobility, fulfillment of personal goals and independence, and that minimise the need for pharmacological interventions
Support more junior staff with training, supervision and appraisal, whilst also beinvolved in service improvement projects.
