Hounslow and Richmond Community NHS Trust is committed to safeguarding vulnerable people . We are seeking to recruit a Named Nurse for Safeguarding Children to join our safeguarding team.
This is a significant role in the delivery of child safeguarding in the Trust, reporting to the Deputy Chief Nurse, providing clinical expertise and management to effectively contribute to the functions of the Hounslow and Richmond Community Healthcare (HRCH) Safeguarding Children Service.

Main duties of the job
We are looking for an enthusiastic person to be able to provide that expert advice, supervision and training to all HRCH Staff, take a professional lead and fulfil the role of the Named Nurse. You will be responsible to ensure that best practice, new guidance and recommendation in relation to safeguarding children are taken forward and facilitate the delivery of the HRCH Safeguarding Children Training Strategy.
As the lead for the children's safeguarding team , you will provide the line management for the Nurse Specialists and the MASH Practitioner and manage the day to day activities of the service, ensuring that resources and budgets are used efficiently and effectively.
