Main duties of the job

Band: 4 £27,485 - £30,162 per annum

Hours: 37.5 - Full-time

As a vital member of our Corporate Services Estates and Facilities team, your work will directly support our Trusts recruitment and retention efforts, helping to attract and retain the talent that powers our healthcare services. Our vision for Single Corporate Services Isle of Wight NHS Trust (IWT) and Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust (PHU) have a shared vision of a single corporate service across our two organisations, supported by a single set of identical systems and processes, under joint leadership, to drive significant efficiencies, improve employee experience, and return time to patient care.

The single corporate service is delivered across both organisation. You may be based at either IWT or PHU and individuals may be required to undertake business travel between sites. For leaders managing staff across multi-site locations, you will need to be visible and provide in person leadership. The arrangements and frequency will be agreed locally.

  • Manage residential accommodation to ensure maximum efficiency, availability, and accessibility.
  • Provide advice and guidance to prospective and existing tenants on a variety of accommodation issues.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders,including HR, Facilities Management, and Security, to ensure smooth operations.
  • Oversee maintenance and repairs, ensuring timely resolution with minimal disruption to tenants.
  • Manage accommodation finances,including rent collection, invoicing, and purchasing.
  • Lead by example with on-site visibility and leadership, fostering a supportive and effective working environment.

  • GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade C or above) and knowledge of MS Office applications.

Experience

  • At least one year of experience in the health service or a related field, with a proven track record in accommodation management.
