Job summary

We are looking for a motivated, caring, and enthusiastic individual to join our friendly team and expanding Cardiac Physiology Service. Our main goal is to provide outstanding patient centred care. The Cardiac Investigations Unit at St Mary's Hospital on the Isle of Wight is a small but busy department, offering a range of invasive and non-invasive services to patients needing diagnostic investigations and treatment within our hospital and expanding to the new Community Diagnostic Centre.

The Trainee Apprentice Cardiac Physiologist role is an exciting opportunity for individuals to have a dedicated learning pathway in Cardiac Physiology. Learning skills such as 12 lead ECG's, Ambulatory 24-hour ECG and BP analysis, Physiologist led Exercise Testing, Pacemaker and ILR implantation and follow up.

Alongside practical training at St Marys Hospital, the applicant will be completing a BSc in Healthcare Science (Cardiac Physiology) at Bristol University.

Annex 21 will be applied to the salary for the duration of training which is expected to take 3 years (please see attached guidance)
