We are recruiting for a CBS Specialty Team Manager who wishes to join #TeamIOWNHS. You should share our passion and drive to ensure that our patients receive quality and compassionate care and work with us to ensure the Trust continues its journey towards "great people, great place".
This role involves providing a high quality, comprehensive and effective management to the Centralised Booking Service, in order to facilitate an effective management of the Outpatient specialities of the organisation.
Main duties of the job
To deliver and raise awareness across IOWNHS of the NHS e-Referral service.
To ensure the smooth running of specialties within Centralised Booking Service on a daily basis in accordance with Trust protocols.
Manage HR functions for clerical staff within the department - supporting Administration Managers when appropriate.
Liaise with speciality Assistant Operational Managers / Operational Manager to highlight future demand / capacity issues.
To work flexibly to meet the needs of the service.
Provide managerial cover in the absence of the Assistant Operational Manager.
