Medical Education Administrator - Apprentice

Salary: Annex 21 Band 3 (see below)

Hours: 35 hours per week (salary will be pro-rata)

Location: Medical Education, The Education Centre, St. Mary's Hospital

Contract: Apprenticeship (18 Months)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an apprentice position in the Medical Education Team and we are recruiting for an Apprentice Medical Education Administrator who wishes to join #TeamIOWNHS. We are seeking an enthusiastic motivated individual with a flexible approach and a desire to learn to join our dedicated and friendly team. A self-motivated, positive attitude is required with the ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service.

The period of training is 18 months. The role will involve general administration and office duties. The successful candidate will receive support and training. Upon successful completion of assessment which will lead to a Level 3 Administration apprenticeship.

Salary Details:

  • First year: £17,035.20 per annum/pro rata
  • Second year: £18,252.00 per annum/pro rata

Main duties of the job

The post holder will contribute to the provision and coordination of medical education for medical staff & undergraduate medical students.

You will be undertaking the administration for the Medical Education team and provide comprehensive administrative support, ensuring a high-quality standard in all aspects of the role.

The successful post holder will liaise with customers, in relation to training and courses, and staff throughout the Trust.
