This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic clinician, with experience of working in children's services, to join our Community, Children and Adolescent Mental Health Team (CAMHS) team on the Isle of Wight. The IOW NHS Trust community CAMHS team is CQC rated Good, the team is a multidisciplinary team of 40 staff who provide services to children and young people on the Island that are experiencing emotional health and wellbeing difficulties.
This dynamic clinician will work within the IOW Community CAMHS Team. They will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide specialist support and intervention to children, young people and their families within a range of settings including; home, the children's ward, the Acute Adult Ward, and other community settings to support recovery and deliver interventions in the least restrictive environment.
They will be passionate about ensuring the child's voice is central to the work they do and work in partnership with families and other agencies to achieve the outcomes desired by the child or young person.

We are a multidisciplinary community mental health clinic that provides support, consultation and training to universal and targeted childrens services. We provide primary and specialist mental health and eating disorder services in the community and to inpatient treatment services as required. To provide high quality care and treatment in conjunction with other professionals and work in partnership with other agencies to provide seamless, flexible services which meet service user and carer need.

The post holder will be responsible, together with the wider team, for providing care, interventions and health promotion to people with severe mental health problems in the community and eating disorders. The post holder will also undertake a supervisory role in respect to multi-disciplinary junior team members and work alongside the multi-disciplinary team and Team Leader on clinical issues such as therapeutic approaches and care co-ordination The post holder will also be expected to work as an autonomous practitioner, as well as taking all opportunities to become actively involved in training and teaching programmes, both within the Trust and the wider community.

- RMN with live NMC registration. Allied Health Professional Psychologist Occupational therapist or Social worker with appropriate current registration
- Evidence of on-going development and post registration training.
- Post registration training in evidence based psychological treatments.

- Formal PgCert qualification in recognised psychological therapy Supplementary or Independent non-medical prescribing qualification.
