The Education, Learning and Development Team are waiting to offer a warm and friendly welcome to the right person who has the knowledge, skills and values to support us to achieve our Education, Learning and Development ambitions through engaging learning technology.
We are looking for a creative individual who will support the Oliveira Library by contributing to the development of digital and online education, creating content collaboratively for e-learning and providing technical expertise and advice in the use of Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL).
There will be a training element to the role, where the successful candidate will be supported through a 2 year apprenticeship programme that will result in a Level 5 in e-learning Design qualification, this will be completed through a study day every week. The salary will be based on an annexe 21 trainee rate. The salary for year 1 will be 70% of the highest point of band 5 (£24,206.70) and year 2 will be 75% of the highest point of band 5 (£25,935.75).
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation of creative e-learning approaches throughout the organisation, promoting its benefits and providing high quality technical advice and support.
In addition, they will be responsible for the creation, development and maintenance of all such electronic courses andmanage and lead on electronic learning management systems, responsible for updates, advice, support and technical expertise.
You will gain working knowledge of the following Learning Management Systems: NHS Electronic Staff Record (ESR) learning management (OLM).
The following e-learning platforms: clinicalskills.net, Training Tracker and HEE e-learning for health.
