The team, set up in 2022, has already secured over 175 tenancies for NHS staff, supporting them to find more suitable and affordable housing - directly supporting the NHS in its recruitment, retention and wellbeing of staff.

You will work from home and the position requires travel to multiple sites in your chosen area.

Funded through a collaboration between NHS Trusts, the post holder/s will:

  1. Directly assist staff, especially those recruited internationally, with housing issues including support to find new accommodation, liaising with landlords and supporting access to money and debt advice services in other organisations.

Main duties of the job

Successful candidates will have experience of housing, health and/or social care and be able to demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively across a range of public and private sector organisations, finding solutions with people and creating agency for change.

Successful applicant/s will be given a designated geographical area within Hampshire and Southampton (not on the Isle of Wight) to focus on and need to be able to manage their time between working from home, different office bases and in the community.

The position is offered on a full-time or job share basis and available for an initial fixed-term period to 31st March 2024 with the opportunity of secondments from key partner organisations across health, care, local authority and housing very much welcomed.
