Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Older Adults Services. We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking, organised candidate to provide and maintain a high standard of cleanliness in all areas at Edmund Road and to undertake and complete relevant paperwork / electronic recording for water flushing, fridge temperatures, water temperatures and fire and panic alarm testing and to follow cleaning schedules
Main duties of the job
- General cleaning of all corridors and areas within the site.
- Following work schedules, which includes opening and locking up of the building, emptying of bins, hovering of rooms and corridors, cleaning of toilets and clinical areas, cleaning carpets, washing of walls.
- Disposal of all rubbish following recycling guidelines.
- Follow Trust Policies and guidance relevant to the role.
- Request cleaning materials and stores, keeping adequate stock levels.
- To carry out duties having due regards for Food Hygiene, Health and Safety and COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) Regulations.
To ensure products, equipment and materials are used appropriately and in the correct manner to ensure safe cleaning and the best results.
