Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Workforce Team to co-ordinate flu vaccinations for the Trust and to assist in the production of workforce performance dashboards/reports. This role offers a varied workload in a supportive team where you will be pivotal in supporting clinicians, managers and the organisation to achieve vaccination targets and to provide meaningful information to help drive business decisions. Main duties of the job

To be the central point of contact for managers, vaccinators and staff during the flu vaccination season. Offering advice and information to assist the Trust in achieving its objectives. Accurately document flu vaccination related activity. Produce a suite of reports around vaccination activity on a regular basis to inform the organisation of progress and to highlight areas of any specific focus. Use the reporting functionality in ESR, health roster system to produce regular monthly and ad hoc report requests. To support the ESR manager/HR Workforce Systems & Information Manager in delivering local and Trust wide projects. You will have the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, pay attention to detail, able to keep accurate records and experience or skill to extract data from large databases in a meaningful way.

Job responsibilities

  • Review and update training and support materials available to managers and staff ensuring they meet the needs of the system users and are easily accessible.
  • Host a rotational basis, training and support/provide information about HR related systems to managers and users.
  • Use the reporting functionality in ESR, health roster system to produce regular monthly and ad hoc report requests.
  • Liaise with internal/external departments and software suppliers to address any systems issues.
  • Support the development of standard operating procedures for HR Systems related activity and communicate to staff and managers as appropriate.
  • To support the ESR Manager to establish and maintain standard operating procedures relating to all HR Systems and associated activity so that HR staff, employees, managers and the external payroll provider are clear about their roles and responsibilities.
  • To support the ESR Manager to ensure that managers and staff understand their roles and responsibilities for all payroll related activity through a programme of education and communication.
  • To support the ESR manager/HR Workforce Systems & Information Manager in delivering local and Trust wide projects.
