Job summary

To provide a professional, high-level and comprehensive partnership, stakeholder management and business development support service to the Chief Executive Office, this role will play a key part in fostering relationships, partnerships and supporting projects to enhance the effectiveness of the Executive administrative function.

Main duties of the job

Providing the full range of Partnership and Business administrative support services as required for the Chief Executive Office, combining the ability to provide administrative leadership, manage own workload and work independently with the willingness to work across team boundaries to create strong collaborative relationships acrossadministrative teams and functions.

Job responsibilities

Principal Duties:

Partnership Development

Provide administrative support to the Chief Executive for collaborative external partnership and stakeholder management meetings, including but not limited to NHS Providers, local authorities, Primary Care, and VSCEs This role will support effective partnerships for the Chief Executive Office aimed at enhancing service delivery and patient outcomes.

Project and System management

Support the Chief Executives office including projects related to service improvement, strategic planning, and operational efficiency as required. Minute meetings, develop project plans, monitor progress, and support successful implementation working within agreed timelines and budgets.

Stakeholder Engagement

Establish strong administrative systems to support engagement with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the Chief Executive Office, including clinicians, managers, community representatives, and patients, to gather input, provide updates, and ensure effective communication.

Data Analysis and Reporting

Collect and analyse relevant data, identifying trends and patterns to inform decision-making. Prepare and draft reports and presentations as required to support the Chief Executives Office.

Continuous Improvement

Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives, sharing best practices, and promoting a culture of learning and innovation for the Executive Administration function. Maximise the use of digital to set up and develop IT systems as required to fulfil the duties of the role.

Policy and Compliance

Ensure currency and continued understanding with relevant policies, guidelines, and regulations within the healthcare sector to ensure effective administration and governance. Ensure administrative activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

  • oExcellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal

  • oBusiness/professional qualification to degree level or demonstrable equivalent experience within a professional setting in relation to business administration
  • oGCSE Maths and English or equivalent
  • oEvidence of continuing professional and personal development

Desirable

  • oProject Management qualification (such as 6 Sigma, Prince etc) or experience in practice.
