Job summary
Generic CAMHS support children / young people and their families where there is concern about emotional or behavioural difficulties. Assessment and therapy can be provided to children, young people, and families, where appropriate CAMHS clinicians consult with other professionals.Continuing professional development is ensured by regular clinical and managerial supervision, peer-support, and attendance at relevant courses/conferences, in line with BPS and HCPC professional requirements.

Main duties of the job
As a senior Clinical / Counselling Psychologist in our multi-disciplinary team, you will be assessing young people, delivering evidence-based therapeutic support and contributing to the overall development and provision of the service. The service is based at Haringey CAMHS, St Ann's Hospital. However, you may be required to work at other locations of the Trusts interests, including travelling to appropriate meetings, outside of the borough, as required.Receive and offer regular clinical professional supervision from a senior clinician of same discipline, and, where appropriate, other senior professional colleagues. Develop and deliver specialist training to others in area of clinical expertise. Contribute to the teaching of clinicians and trainees, as appropriate. Provide advice, consultation and training to staff working with the client group across a range of agencies and settings, where appropriate.
