This role will require you to:
Complete mental health assessments and review calls
Support the development and delivery of psychoeducational groups/workshops
Support with audits/other service development projects
Build relationships with partner organisations/other community groups
Gathering information relating to local/national services that our clients can access and being able to communicate information regarding these services to the wider team
You will have excellent communication skills and a real interest in and knowledge of working with adults experiencing a range of mental health struggles and psychosocial problems in a primary care setting. Enthusiasm, confidence and the ability to work flexibly and without close direction are essential.
Our NHS TT Team is based at Chase Farm Hospital, Enfield. You may be required to work from GP practices and community settings as needed. Currently we are working in a hybrid manner. Requirements: on site 2 days per week & will be required to work a Tuesday evening shift (12pm-8pm).
We will ensure you have a committed team to work with, including a peer group of Assistant Psychologists, PWPs, CBT Therapists and Counsellors, with the opportunity to help us shape and develop the service as it expands. You will be able to access training and staff development, as well as our robust supervision and governance systems. The postholder will report to and be supported by a Senior CBT Therapist.

Essential
- An upper class honours degree or higher in psychology
- Entitlement to graduate membership of the British Psychological Society
- Experience of delivering 1:1 clinical contacts
- An understanding of the needs and difficulties of people with mental health problems
Desirable
- Further postgraduate training in relevant areas of professional psychology, mental health practice and/or research design and analysis
- Experience using databases or data- analysis, especially SPSS for Windows.
Skills/Abilities

- High level communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to communicate sensitive information to patients, carers and colleagues in a way that addresses psychological resistance.
- An understanding of the needs and difficulties of people with mental health problems or other disabilities.
