This pathway includes key services such as theMental Health Crisis Assessment Serviceand theHealth Based Place of Safety. We're looking for experienced healthcare professionals who are passionate about delivering urgent and specialist mental health care

Main duties of the job

We have 2 roles we are recruiting to:

1)

  • TheMental Health Crisis Assessment Service(MHCAS) model is an innovative crisis assessment model which integrates emergency liaison, alongside a bespoke mental health crisis assessment unit supporting patients experiencing a mental health crisis in a trauma informed therapeutic setting. The service was recognised and received the award for Excellence in Mental Health at the NHS Parliamentary awards in 2022.
  • This role is for registered Nurses, Social Workers, Occupation Therapists or Psychiatrists.

2)

  • TheHealth Based Place of Safety(HBPoS) provides high quality assessment and care for people experiencing an acute mental health crisis, who are detained under a Section 136 or Section 135(1). This is your opportunity to meet our clinical teams, learn about the roles available at ourHighgate Campus, and undertake recruitment assessments to fast-track your application to join one of the most supportive and innovative teams in mental health care. This role is only for qualified, registered and experienced Nurses.
