We are seeking enthusiastic Core Trainee (LAS) doctors to join our in-patient mental health teams at the Highgate East and West Mental Health Centres. These posts offer an incredible opportunity to gain hands-on experience in managing severe mental illnesses, such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, within a supportive and dynamic multidisciplinary team.
Main duties of the job
o Working on acute treatment wards (male and female) or rehabilitation and older adults' wards.o Participating in daily morning MDT meetings, patient reviews, and case formulation discussions.o Gaining comprehensive experience in psychiatric assessment, patient management, and multidisciplinary collaboration.o Developing your skills through excellent clinical supervision and training opportunities.

All in-patients should be reassessed as necessary and no less frequently than once per week, so that an update is made before each main ward round.
