An opportunity has come up for a Senior Administrator within the Crisis services across Camden & Islington , working with the Crisis Teams, Crisis Single Point of Access and the Crisis Houses.

The role will support 3 admins (band 4) working in different office locations so we require someone who is committed to full time office based work with flexibility to travel across sites

The successful candidate will work closely with the service manager, team managers and data team for the division to ensure that that efficient data and administration support is provided, as well as line-managing a group of band 3 administration staff.

We are looking for a reliable self-starter, who can use their initiative, and be assertive in anticipating the needs of the teams. You should be able to work autonomously as well as part of a team. You should have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Flexibility along with good attention to detail is a MUST.

Main duties of the job

Some of the key tasks in this role will be:

  • To maintain and submit key performance data within strict timelines
  • To provide weekly and monthly data to our teams and service manager
  • Monitoring and prompt flagging up of Data Quality issues and working with colleagues to find solutions to these
  • Line management of administrative staff
  • To service various meetings, including at a senior management level
  • To provide support with/carry out audits as necessary
  • Procurement
  • General administrative functions

To be considered for this role you will be dynamic, positive, possess strong organisational, planning and management skills and have the ability to effectively support and maintain seamless daily operation of teams/departments. Implementation and maintenance of high quality administrative systems and procedures is essential to this role.

This role requires someone who is multi-skilled, with intermediate to advance Microsoft Office suite skill set (in particular Excel and Power Point). Previous NHS experience in a mental health or social care environment would be highly regarded but not essential.
