Job summary

You will provide clinical leadership across the service supporting the staff team to work with this challenging client group and to ensure that the service is always delivering the best possible, evidence based care. The role will involve taking lead responsibility for specific treatment pathways within the service and for leading on service improvement initiatives agreed with the Management and Leadership Group.

Main duties of the job

Working as a Senior Recovery Practitioner at Kingston Wellbeing Service you will have responsibility for managing all clients on your caseload and for supporting quality improvement and safe practice across the service.

The post holder will, using a range of generic and profession specific tools, be responsible for providing individual service user assessment and identifying, delivering and evaluating care interventions. This will include providing direct care to a caseload of complex service users.

Essential

  • Possession of an appropriate qualification or relevant experience and can demonstrate its relevance to this role (E)
  • Evidence of recent academic study relevant to working in substance misuse (E)

Experience

  • Demonstrable understanding and experience of utilising a variety of assessment tools as well as service
  • Demonstrable experience of working successfully with complex clients, preferably in an an SMS setting

Desirable

  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of their own role and that of others within the multi-professional

Skills/Knowledge

  • Demonstrable skills in leading clinical practice and improving outcomes across a team
