This is an exciting opportunity to join C&I's Hospital Division Psychology Service.

We are an expanding team of psychologists and CAPs working across inpatient services at Highgate Mental Health Centre and until October 2023 St. Pancras Hospital.

We are delighted to advertise newly funded posts in recognition of the Trust's commitment to improve access to psychological interventions and developing Trauma Informed Care within inpatient settings for adult and older adult service users.

The post-holder will be the lead psychologist for two wards which offer a range of psychological interventions on adult acute wards as part of well-established MDT teams.

We are looking for psychologists with excellent clinical skills and with demonstrated expertise and knowledge of working with adults experiencing acute mental health difficulties and presenting in acute distress.

Enthusiasm, personal resilience and the ability to work flexibly are essential. Those currently working at Band 7 who are ready for career progression are encouraged to apply as we are able to offer this post as a Band 7 Preceptorshiptowards Band 8a.

You would be joining an expanding psychology service with supervision, peer support and training integral to supporting the role and work. EMDR training will be available from this autumn.

We would be very happy to accept applications for sessional work as well as compressed hours so please contact us to discuss further.
