Job summary
Two CT LAS posts have arisen in the Hospital Division of Camden and Islington NHS Trust to cover two 6 month CT posts.
Both posts are well supported and involve working with well established inpatient teams. There is protected time associated with both posts for CPD. Both posts would particularly suit applicants looking for an 'F3' post in in-patient psychiatry.

Post 1: Ruby Ward, HMHC. 12 bed female Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit. Consultant is Dr Saira Chowdhary.
Post 2: Dunkley Ward, SPH. 17 bed female acute treatment ward. Consultant is Dr Farrah Anwar.
Main duties of the job
Post 1: Ruby Ward, HMHC. 12 bed female Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit at the Highgate Mental Health Centre. Consultant is Dr Saira Chowdhary. The focus is on assessing and managing women with severe, often treatment-resistant, mental illnesses. Women admitted to Ruby Ward manifest challenging or aggressive behaviours as part of their overall presentation.
Post 2: Dunkley Ward, St Pancras Hospital. 17 bed female acute treatment ward. Consultant is Dr Farrah Anwar. This post involves working in an acute mental health admissions ward. The focus is on assessing and managing women with severe mental illnesses.
Both posts involve being on the out-of-hours CT on-call rota.
The posts are for 6 months, with the possibility of extension for a further 6 months.
