Apprentice Resourcing Administrator - 19-Month Fixed Term Apprenticeship

Base: New Mill and agileService: People Matters - ResourcingAnnual Salary whilst completing the apprenticeship:

  • Under 18: £14,722.50
  • Age 18-20: £19,500
  • Age 21+: £23,809.50

We're looking for someone enthusiastic, organised, proactive, & a strong team player to join our supportive, high-performing Resourcing Team.

As an Apprentice Resourcing Administrator, you'll work towards a Level 3 Recruiter Apprenticeship, developing the skills, knowledge & confidence needed to begin a successful career in resourcing.

This apprenticeship includes:

  • A structured 15-month training programme, alongside your day-to-day role in Resourcing.
  • A supportive learning environment, with guidance from experienced Recruitment & Temporary Staffing professionals.
  • A blend of on-site workplace learning, one study day per week and guided development activities.
  • Opportunities to build experience in candidate attraction, screening, onboarding, systems use & customer service.

By the end of the programme, you'll hold a recognised Level 3 Recruiter Apprenticeship qualification, plus real-world experience to support your long-term career in resourcing.

On successful completion of your apprenticeship, you will be offered a substantive position as a Band 2 Resourcing Administrator with the Trust.

Main duties of the job

Working under the Recruitment Team Leader, you will undertake training and gradually develop competence in the following areas:

Recruitment & Onboarding Support

  • Accurately process candidate data in Trac, including applications and interview scheduling.
  • Prepare and issue candidate correspondence and onboarding documentation.
  • Conduct virtual and face-to-face ID checks in line with national and Trust policy.
  • Support the Temporary Staffing Service with administrative tasks and workforce deployment.

Administrative & Customer Service Responsibilities

  • Maintain electronic records, securely scan and file documentation.
  • Manage the Recruitment inbox and support the Temporary Staffing inbox when required.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to queries from candidates, managers and employees.
  • Update recruitment trackers, spreadsheets and internal logs with accuracy and attention to detail.

Engagement, Events & Candidate Experience

  • Support recruitment events, open days, targeted campaigns and job fairs.
  • Promote an excellent candidate journey and actively contribute to early new-starter retention.

Teamwork & Collaboration

  • Share knowledge, learn from colleagues and contribute to a positive, inclusive team environment.
  • Work collaboratively across Recruitment and TSS, participating in meetings and team initiatives.
