Community Mental Health Nurse

The closing date is 04 March 2026

Job summary

We are seeking a highly skilled, motivated, and passionate Band 6 Community Mental Health Nurse to join our Adult Community Mental Health Team based in Skipton, Craven. The role involves providing high-quality care to service users across a large and diverse geographical area, covering both urban and rural communities.

The post holder will work autonomously, without direct supervision, and will be responsible for organising and prioritising their own workload. While reporting to the Team Leader, the successful candidate will be confident in making independent clinical decisions that directly impact the mental health care of service users. This will be informed by their own assessments, as well as those of colleagues, requiring analysis of complex information and clinical judgement.

We offer a supportive and inclusive working environment, with opportunities for ongoing learning, professional development, and career progression.

As a clinician, you will not only support service users through some of the most challenging periods of their lives, but also empower and encourage them to achieve their full potential and work towards recovery.
