Our approach includes a wide range of occupationally focused interventions, designed to support service users in achieving meaningful change in their day-to-day lives.
You will be joining a friendly, skilled, and collaborative multidisciplinary team consisting of Doctors, Occupational Therapists, Nurses, Psychologists, an Art Therapist, Social Workers, Peer Workers and Support Workers. Together, we deliver a recovery-driven service aligned with our Care Closer to Home initiative.
Main duties of the job
As a key member of our specialist Community Mental Health Team, you will:
- Manage a rewarding clinical caseload, working closely with individuals to support their recovery and independence.
- Deliver safe, effective and person-centred rehabilitation, using your professional expertise to advocate for the people we serve.
- Bring your evidence-based Occupational Therapy skills to a dynamic multi-disciplinary team, helping shape high-quality interventions.
- Play an active role in team communication, service development and continuous improvement, ensuring we provide the best care possible.
- Offer supervision, guidance and support to colleagues, helping to nurture a positive and collaborative working environment.
- Provide excellent practice-placement education, supporting the next generation of Occupational Therapists.
