The closing date is 23 November 2025

Job summary

Are you passionate about making a real difference in patient care and staff safety? We're looking for a dedicated Management of Violence and Aggression (MAV) Advisor to help shape and deliver essential training across our services.

In this exciting role, you'll work closely with senior instructors and the PTU Manager to plan, implement, and develop innovative approaches to managing aggression and violence. Your expertise will empower our teams to use least restrictive practices and provide compassionate care, even in challenging situations.

You'll also play a vital part in supporting the Community Dental Service, offering guidance to clinicians on patient management and assisting with safe clinical holding when needed--helping ensure dental care is delivered safely in both hospital and primary care settings.

We're looking for an experienced healthcare professional who:

  • Is committed to promoting safety and dignity for patients and staff.
  • Has a strong understanding of symptoms of distress and de-escalation techniques.
  • Is passionate about delivering high-quality training and fostering a culture of care.

If you're ready to take on a role that combines clinical expertise, leadership, and education, and want to make a positive impact across the trust, we'd love to hear from you!
