Job summary

The therapy Team Lead post is predominantly a clinical role with a split of 70% clinical and 30% non-clinical work.

The post holder will be responsible for their own caseload within their speciality area as an autonomous practitioner. The post holder is responsible for the development and implementation of policies and procedures within the Anticipatory care portfolio which may have a wider impact across Bradford District Care Foundation trust and beyond. The post holder will represent anticipatory care therapy throughout the trust and may be required to comment and implement on service development.

As a Therapy team lead you will assess, plan, deliver and evaluate patient centred therapy programmes of care to a highly specialist level ensuring that they practice within their sphere of competence and knowledge.

Knowledge and skills will be used to develop competencies and clinical knowledge with patients, carers, colleagues, students and the wider multidisciplinary team. As a team member they will also support members of the wider multidisciplinary team deliver high quality community care. You will offer clinical supervision across Anticipatory care portfolio.

The post holder will work to professional and HCPC standards and guidance at all times ensuring that their practice is grounded in evidence based theoretical and practical knowledge.

Main duties of the job
