An exciting opportunity has become available for an Assistant Psychologists (Band 5) to join the West Yorkshire Staff Mental Health and Wellbeing Hub (WY Hub). We are eager to recruit an enthusiastic and reliable Assistant Psychologist to support the delivery of high-quality services to those that use our services.
Bradford District Care Foundation Trust (BDCFT) is hosting the Staff Psychological Assessment and Treatment arm of West Yorkshire Mental Health and Wellbeing Hub, supporting all those in health and care roles health, social and voluntary organisations. The remit is to provide evidence-based psychological therapies to all health, social and voluntary organisations within the Integrated Care System across West Yorkshire.
The West Yorkshire Staff Mental Health and Wellbeing Hub is committed to supporting the mental health and wellbeing of health care professionals. Main duties of the job
To provide supervised support to the psychological therapy service and wider team across the range of provision.
Under the supervision of a qualified clinical psychologist & CBT therapist:
- Conduct initial calls with service users to inform decision regarding suitability and next steps in their journey
- To support project work within the service
- Aid in the facilitation and delivery of Triage
- Collaboratively establish individual service user's goals towards recovery.
- Deliver psychological interventions such as groups to service users; CBT informed structured interventions, guided self-help, cofacilitated group work.
- Support the audit and research activities of the service
- Support the psychological therapy services through data collection & analysis as part of audit, service evaluation and research initiatives
