Job summary

The role is a band 5 rotational physiotherapy post working across Airedale NHS Foundation Trust and Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust. Rotations will be across both organizations, with an expectation to participate on the AGH on call physiotherapy rota and maintain respiratory competency.

Main duties of the job

To provide a high standard physiotherapy service to a defined clinical caseload within Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust within our older peoples mental health wards and join the Airedale General Hospital Band 5 rotation scheme to be employed by BDCFT.

To clinically support students/assistants and others in the delivery of the Physiotherapy service for Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust Mental Health Service.

To contribute to the development of physiotherapy clinical practice within both Trusts.

  • UK Registrations with the Health Care Professions Council

  • Post graduate courses relevant to service/clinical
  • Member of relevant Professional special interest groups/organisations

  • Relevant and recent undergraduate experience working in a variety of clinical areas and settings
  • Undergraduate experience of multidisciplinary team working and working collaboratively with other professions and agencies
  • Experience in use of IT applications

  • Experience of service development
