Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated health care professional who will work closely the Service Manager, bank staff and our bank staff colleagues to review our current processes for bank staff workers. This will include working collaboratively across services and devise improvements in strategic and operational processes which impact the bank worker.
The post holder will work in partnership with inpatient services to plan, coordinate and implement appropriate bank staffing levels within the services. This will include ensuring all bank staff allocated have the right skills, training and knowledge.
This is a vital role within the organisation and the post holder will need to be able to understand the important impact bank staff provide and what the needs of this workforce require to help them deliver the care and values we expect from anyone working for Bradford District Care Trust.

Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for the day-to-day range of staff management matters associated with temporary workers/bank staff, which will include responsibility for supporting appraisals, development of bank workers, recruitment and where necessary process grievance and disciplinary issues.To engage with clinical staff and managers to get their buy in and engagement with new models and approaches.
To influence and negotiate with the recruitment and retention teams to ensure a temporary staffing resource is available to meet the needs of the organisation.
To respond to performance issues at an early stage.
To liaise with People Services and Service Managers to ensure that conduct and performance issues are addressed in a timely and appropriate manner.
To improve compulsory training compliance and training and developmentopportunities, including ensuring that the requirements of the Care Certificate and Nurse Revalidation are met.
To support temporary staff who are in a HCA/HCSW position and who are enrolled onto the BDCFT 12 month Flourish programme which is delivered by the Centre for Clinical Education and Professional Development and the Education and Training team.
To support clinical complaints and incidents management relating to temporary staffing within inpatient services
