Main duties of the job
- To assist qualified nursing staff in the assessment, delivery and evaluation of care to patients suffering from Mental Illness, who may also present with challenging behaviour, ensuring individual needs are met.
- Under the supervision of registered health care professionals assist the healthcare team with the provision of clinical care.
- Ensure patient safety is maintained and patient experience is positive by treating all patients, relatives and colleagues with respect, dignity and courtesy in accordance with Trust values.
- Ensure that stock of clinical and non clinical resources required on the ward is maintained.
