Job summary
We are looking for a dedicated registered nurse who has a passion for supporting children and young people with additional special needs, and their families. You must be confident to work alongside multi-agency professionals and autonomously to provide safe access to school for all children and young people.
The Special Needs School Nursing Team empower school staff and carers by providing training to enable them to safely care for the health and wellbeing needs of our children and young people in various settings. We also play a major role in the safeguarding process, working alongside colleagues in education and children's social care. More details regarding the role can be found in the job description.
Our schools are based across the Bradford, Airedale and Craven districts.

Main duties of the job
To work as a staff nurse within the School Nursing Special Needs team, to provide a safe and effective service for school age children in special needs schools in the Bradford, Airedale and Craven Districts, that promotes the physical, social and emotional wellbeing of the child.
