Telecoach / Psychologist Therapist/Mental Health Nurse/Occupational Therapist/ Social Worker
Our First Response service offers 24/7 support to people of all ages living in Bradford, Airedale, Wharfedale or Craven to ensure that access to high-quality mental health care can be achieved by people suffering with a mental health Crisis in line with Core 24 Guidance.
Accessed through a single phone number people can ring for help from psychological / mental health trained staff, who can identify their needs and intervene or signpost as required to ensure that they can access the right support in a timely way from an appropriate service.

Main duties of the job
Tele coaches provide brief clinical risk and UK mental health Triage, formulations and brief psychological interventions for people presenting in mental health crisis.
Working via telephone, Tele coaches are experts in validating, de-escalating crisis and coaching people in distress tolerance and emotional regulation strategies.
Using a range of brief psychological interventions, Tele coaches empower patients, carers and families to manage distress and crisis effectively.
