This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of our "Outstanding Team" in the Children's Community Nursing Team caring for children acrossCambridgeshire.
We are looking for a Health Care Support Worker to join our dynamic team, based out of The Oak Tree Centre in Huntingdon and The Peacock Centre in Cambridge. The team cover the whole of Cambridgeshire delivering quality care to make a difference to children and young people requiring nursing care in their homes or other community settings.
We have a dynamic team who facilitate early discharge of children from hospital as well as prevent hospital admissions and ED attendance, andare looking for enthusiastic, passionate and motivated Health Care support worker to join our team.

Main duties of the job
To work within the Children's Community Specialist Nursing Team in delivering care to children with acute and complex healthcare needs in the community. This may also include children who arenearing the end of their life.
To deliver specific nursing interventions, promote transition to adult services and social and play tasks. and carry out duties to ensure the smooth running of Community Paediatrician clinics in the child development centre.
The post-holder will also be expected to undertake some clerical duties acting under direction of qualified professionals whilst working alongside other staff to provide both a quality and child friendly service
