We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Nursery Nurse to join our team. Are you fun, caring, and eager to make a real difference in the lives of children and families? You will work alongside the Children's Continuing Care Nurse to provide family-centred nursing care for children with complex needs in the community. Care will be delivered across a range of settings, including homes and schools within the Bedford and Luton area.
The role involves providing care and support for individuals with complex needs on a 24-hour basis, which includes both day and night dutiesas part of a rota system. Flexibility is essential to ensure continuous care and meet the needs of service users.

Main duties of the job
With the support of the children's community care nurse provide high quality family centred nursing carefor technology dependent children and children with complex needs in the community.
Care may bedelivered in a range of settings appropriate to the children (e.g. school/home/respite unit) over the 24hrperiod.
The post holder will be required to work in partnership with children and young people with complexneeds, their families, and the multi-disciplinary team to enable the child to attain the optimum life experience.

- To build professional relationships with families who may be stressed and finding it difficult to cope with a child who has very complex health needs
