Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our vibrant and innovative community children's Occupational Therapy and service.
You will be based in the Fenland area and your role will predominantly involve working within special school, clinic, home and mainstream school/nursery settings supporting the Occupational Therapy team.
As well as working within the special schools, you will also be visiting mainstream schools and local pre school settings and working within a clinic setting supporting Occupational Therapy. Children seen will have a range of disabilities and developmental delays.
Your role is instrumental in supporting our therapists in the delivery of care to the children and families accessing the services which will include administration tasks. You will also carry out clinical interventions under the direction of the therapists.
There is a strong commitment from Cambridgeshire Community Services for continued professional development for all members of staff.
The successful candidate will be put forward for an Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure of Barring Service as the post involves working with children.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible to work flexibly to assist the Occupational Therapists in their clinical and administrative work, including data entry.
The post holder will carry out clinical interventions under the direction of the therapists in special school, clinic, home and mainstream school/nursery settings.
The client group is children and young people (0-19 years) with disabilities and developmental delays.
