This is a new role in which you will offer safeguarding expertise as well as use operational skills to manage the Bedfordshire wide health element of the MASH . Working with three local authorities to build an expanding MASH offer and improve access to services to local families.

Main duties of the job
- To provide day to day support to the MASH health team including management of the rotas, sickness and leave across each team.
- To provide support and leadership within and across Cambridgeshire Community Services on all matters relating to safeguarding children within the MASH function.
- To ensure that there is robust and effective clinical governance of safeguarding children processes within the MASH function.
- To provide safeguarding advice, support and safeguarding supervision to MASH team workers.
- To work as part of the safeguarding team in the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) ensuring effective timely communication and information sharing both internally and externally
- To participate and represent the safeguarding team on identified multi-agency safeguarding hub operational groups and to communicate effectively with the Named Professional to ensure sufficient oversight of challenges and successes to be directly reported internally and externally.
