Job summary

Are you a whizz with words? Are you passionate about improving the health of Norfolk & Waveney families through digital innovation?

Just One Norfolk is an award-winning website, developed by Norfolk & Waveney Children and Young People's Health Services and co-produced with local families, which facilitates access to self-care resources and health services. FYI is our new self-care platform for 11-24-year-olds. Our digital health platforms are an integral part of our children's health service, and the post-holder will work closely with our staff, service users and stakeholders to help develop digital content which complements our face-to-face offer and single point of access.

We are looking for a content copywriter and coordinator to support the delivery of our digital platforms. You should be a creative, motivated and self-driven individual who likes to challenge the status quo and has the capacity to engage with staff, external stakeholders, families and young people in order to influence the delivery and promotion of the services. We will expect you to work as part of our team demonstrating your ability to take responsibility for the assigned areas of ongoing development and in return, we offer an exciting, innovative working environment and supportive team.

Based in Norwich, the post requires flexibility and travel across Norfolk.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for a Just One Number Content Copywriter and Coordinator to support the delivery of our digital platform. Main Duties and Responsibilities

Work within the Just One Norfolk operational team to achieve objectives set out in Norfolk Service Plans.

Take responsibility for the assigned areas of ongoing development of Just One Norfolk including identified new work streams or pathways.

Create written and visual content for Just One Norfolk as directed by Just One Norfolk Digital Practitioner.

Working with clinicians and practitioners within aligned services to continue to proactively contribute to the development of a Norfolk-wide digital platform. Ensuring information is up to date, recognising these as primary information sources for relevant audiences.

Support the management of finalised Just One Norfolk work plan, as well as creating and maintaining efficient office systems, working to tight deadlines and contributing to the development and maintenance of monitoring systems.

Take responsibility for content review, animation and film script development, streamlining and finalising in preparation for sign off by Just One Norfolk Digital practitioner.

To build and maintain relationships with staff, service users and key partners from statutory and voluntary sector agencies to support and promote the development of Just One Norfolk. This will ensure expertise is bought into relevant work streams and pathways.

To assist the design and delivery of training programmes that will support staff to be competent and confident with digitalisation and support future innovation.

Work with the Just One Norfolk Operational team to ensure Just One Norfolk is monitored and updated as required.

Undertake personal development training in order to enhance skills / expertise and keep up to date with national guidance and best practice.

To communicate the value and importance of utilising digital media for improving access to health services and improved health literacy for service users.

Take responsibility for the organisation and co-ordination of events and content generation sessions with staff and external stakeholders.

Work with the Coproduction Lead to ensure that service users are included within the design and development of services which will support their individual access and improve long term outcomes.

Communication and stakeholder relations

The post holder will have significant contact with a wide range of staff, stakeholders and service users at all levels, in relation to developing new and innovative programmes. This will require the post holder to understand and present complex and potentially sensitive information which will require persuasion and negotiation skills. This post holder will therefore need to make decisions about how to present messages to internal and external audiences, and which communication tool to use to do this to best effect.

Key relationships will generally be with senior managers and staff, service users, including children and young people, partner agencies - both voluntary and public sector, and Public Health commissioners.

The post holder will handle, draft and interpret complex and sensitive information, supporting senior staff to make decisions about what the key messages are and how they are presented both internally and externally.

Minimal need for writing reports/presentations for corporate meetings but will be involved in drafting materials for internal communications.

Support the development of relationships with subcontractors and other individuals and organisations providing Just One Norfolk website development, interface and integration.

Understand and articulate contentious information, relevant to development of Just One Norfolk in a variety of different formats, tailored to meet the needs and expectations of different audiences.

Support the design and delivery of training to stakeholders and partner agencies in relation to all areas of development of Just One Norfolk.

Human Resources

Provide and support training for staff in relation to identified areas of development.

Responsible for maintaining own professional development and requirement to take part in appraisal process.

Clinical and Practice Governance

Responsible for the safe and effective administration of the Just One Norfolk content management system (CMS).

The post holder must have evidence of up-to-date IG and Information security mandatory training in order to access the Just One Norfolk CMS.

Observe and maintain strict confidentiality with regards to any patient/family/staff/records and information in line with the requirements of the Data Protection Act.

Any data that is taken/shared as part of a phone call or transported, faxed or transferred electronically must be undertaken with regard to the Trust Information Governance and Information Security policies.

The post holder must adhere to the Trust risk assessment and risk management processes.
