About you:

Passion for learning new skills and using the best tools for the job

Proven experience in Software Development, Design and Architecture

Strong knowledge and application of software design patterns

Excellent .NET framework knowledge (.Net Core)

Excellent practical knowledge of OOP concepts and SOLID principle

Strong knowledge of User Interface (UI) Design, User Experience (UX)

Design, Responsive Design and Accessibility standards.

Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively

Demonstrated understanding of projects from the perspective of both client and business

Flexible and willing to accept a change in priorities as necessary

Strong attention to detail

What you will be doing:

Discussing clients requirements with Service Teams

Producing detailed specifications and writing the program codes

Testing the application in controlled, real situations before going live

Deploying the application to Azure

Maintaining the systems once they are up and running

Recommend improvements to existing applications as necessary

Development tools and skills:

Programming languages C#, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, Razor pages, MVC, REST APIs, LINQ, Lambda, T-SQL

Integrated development environments Visual Studio for writing and editing code

Source control management using Git

Knowledge of web technologies, such as HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX

Database management using MS-SQL

Web Server management using IIS

Nice to have:

Knowledge of Azure DevOps (CI/CD)

• IT related degree or equivalent extensive experience and expertise in software development in a work environment
• In-depth knowledge of software systems, processes and configurations.
• Good understanding of systems analysis and design methodologies.
• Proven knowledge of high-level programming and version control techniques.

• Working knowledge of digital accessibility requirements.
• Working knowledge of the Umbraco CMS.

Experience

• Proven experience of software development.
