Job summary
Dudley Integrated Health and Care NHS Trust (DIHC) has developed and integrated primary care with community-based services within the Dudley healthcare system since 2020 with its core aim being community where possible and hospital when necessary. Our purpose is to improve the health and wellbeing of our local population in Dudley. We are currently working with organisations within the health care sector in Dudley and the Black Country System to look at the best way to continue to deliver the services to our patients. As such General Practice services provided by the organisation will transfer within the NHS to another provider over the course of the next 6 months.
We have a fantastic opportunity for salaried GP roles to provide Primary Care medical services to the highest standards for all our registered patients at High Oak and Chapel Street Surgeries. The post holder could work either in one practice or a combination of both, to ensure seamless patient focused services and participate in quality improvement projects.
Main duties of the job
Our practice in High Oak, Brierley Hill requires 4 sessions to complete our GP team. Our practice at Chapel Street is growing and we require 9 sessions to complete the team.
We are committed to ensuring appropriate leadership support, including access to leadership development opportunities and training. The successful candidate will receive strong support towards professional development, and we will work with you to identify areas of development, which could include access to the Primary care research, the GP Foundation Programme, HEE Leadership Programmes, Post Graduate Diplomas, Minor Surgery, or becoming a GP Trainer.
