Job summary
We have a great opportunity for two motivated, enthusiastic and reliable Band 3 Physiotherapy Assistants, with an interest in working in our Acute Inpatient Mental Health team.
The posts involve delivering guided physiotherapy intervention for people with a range of mental health conditions. The post will cover psychiatric intensive care units, treatment wards, older adult wards, dementia settings, mental health rehabilitation settings, learning disability units and an eating disorder clinic.
The post will include delivering clinical work both with individuals and in group settings, non-clinical house-keeping duties, equipment management and close MDT working. There will also be an opportunity for development of knowledge and skills around this complex and varied client group. The postholder will be supported by the qualified Physiotherapists and the wider AHP team.
Good written and verbal communication skills, as well as IT skills, are essential. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the ability to work efficiently and responsibly, to meet the needs of the client group, as part of an MDT and at times independently.
The role will by based in Coventry and involve some travel around bases in Warwick, Coventry, and Nuneaton. Car driver is essential.
