We have a 6 month secondment vacancy in the South Warwickshire Community Mental Health Team (Stratford Upon Avon) for a full time Deputy Team Manager/Community Mental Health Nurse. The team works with service users with various mental illnesses and we have bases at St Mary's Lodge, Leamington Spa and Stratford Healthcare, Stratford Upon Avon (you will be predominantly based at Stratford Healthcare, Stratford Upon Avon)
Visits to the team or questions are encouraged to appreciate this exciting but challenging role.
The team have regular team events and developments to support a positive working atmosphere, and collaborative working.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a motivated individual who has the ability to lead and manage a dynamic and diverse multidisciplinarysecondary care community mental health service.It is essential the candidate has substantial mental health experience and preferably has experience at managing and leading clinical teams.
A key component of this post is to act as a clinical leader, to be able to offer advice and supervision to the clinical team and ensure high standardsof care and support are maintained to the client group.The post holder will be a clinical leader and support multi professional team working and drive through trust initiatives and new processes withinthe team, with the support of the team managers.The successful candidate will receive support, managerial and professional supervision from their line manager, peer support and CPD.
You would also manage a small caseload of clients who have complex mental health problems and deliver a range of interventions.
You will receive regular support and supervision. Ensuring that staff are well supported is important throughout the team. We also welcome opportunities for staff to develop, and this will be discussed throughout your time with the team.
