Main duties of the job

Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust (CWPT) is seeking an exceptional Chief Executive to lead our values driven organisation, providing mental health, learning disability, autism, children and young people services to over one million people.

This is a unique opportunity for a clinically credible and compassionate leader to shape the future of services across Coventry and Warwickshire, working with a committed Board, dedicated workforce and strong system partners.

We are looking for a Chief Executive who will lead with integrity, courage and humanity combining strong executive leadership with credible clinical experience to deliver high quality, safe and sustainable services, while fostering an inclusive culture where colleagues and communities feel valued and heard.

  • Educated to masters level standard or equivalent in relevant subject area and additional in-depth professional knowledge gained within a mental health learning disability and autism setting.

Desirable

  • Mental Health or Learning Disability registered clinical professional
  • Postgraduate leadership or healthcare management qualification

Experience

Essential

  • Significant senior leadership experience with Board-level accountability
  • Strong operational and financial acumen and experience
  • Evidence of values-led leadership and cultural development

Desirable

  • Experience of system-level partnership working
