We have an 6-Month Secondment Opportunity.

We are pleased to announce a 6-month secondment opportunity for a Band 7 Lead Primary Care Mental Health Practitioner (ARRS) to support and lead the Mental Health ARRS roles and Wellbeing Hub offer within Rugby Primary Care Network.

This role provides an excellent development opportunity for an experienced practitioner seeking to broaden their leadership skills, contribute to service improvement, and support the delivery of high-quality mental health care within primary care settings.

This role is is suited to professionals who are dynamic, proactive and passionate about team working, innovation and providing a high-quality holistic approach.

You will be employed by Coventry and Warwickshire and Partnership Trust but will have clinical oversight over the mental health provision across Rugby Primary care Network.

Main duties of the job

The successful post holder will be the lead mental health practitioner for Rugby PCN and will support the MH ARRS roles within the PCN's wellbeing hub.

Be responsible for the clinical leadership of mental health provision within Rugby PCN. They will be responsible for the management of day-to-day operational / clinical issues arising from within mental health service delivery.

Provide management, support and development of the staff within the PCN team.

Provide supervision and mentorship to Band 6 Mental Health practitioners and direct line management to other roles including other CWPT psychological roles working within the PCN.

  • A good standard of education including minimum GCSE Grade C and above in English and Maths (or equivalent)
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
  • Registered professional qualification (RMN/Social worker/Occupational Therapist)
  • Evidence of an active interest in further professional development.

  • Relevant experience working with individuals or professional groups
  • Knowledge and experience in Mental health community services including, needs and interventions required for routine referrals and to have a theoretical knowledge of this
