Full time, 12 Months Fixed Term

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Psychologist to join the Personality and Complex Trauma (PACT) service. This Assistant Psychologist post will support the Consultant Adult Psychotherapist, Senior Psychotherapists, and Mentalisation Based Therapists in the provision of specialist input to service users with complex mental health needs.

The Assistant Psychologist will be involved in the development of the Dissociative Disorders service supporting the creation and facilitation of innovative group interventions, as well as the ongoing running of the established Mentalisation-Based Therapy Programme. The Assistant Psychologist will be supported to develop qualitative research skills including designing and conducting interviews, as well as clinical skills in the co-facilitation of therapeutic group interventions. Other duties will include completing clinically related administration, collecting data, conducting service audits and evaluations to determine effectiveness of interventions as well as identifying areas of service development, and the dissemination of research outputs.

We are looking to recruit a psychology graduate who has relevant clinical experience and is interested and passionate about working with people with complex mental health needs.

Main duties of the job
