Systems Change Officer (Internal)

Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our friendly team as a Band 6 Systems Change Officer. The role will support the development, introduction and continuous improvement of systems to collect, store, and disseminate information to support the delivery of patient care and requirements of the Trust.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will provide support for the management, development and deployment of clinical and patient systems across the Trust.

They will support and facilitate specific areas of system enhancement identifying the impact on functionality and work with all relevant clinical and non-clinical staff during deployment to ensure smooth release into operational use.

To undertake the configuration of system modules, develop complex and bespoke system requirements and update systems appropriately according to the needs of the Trust and system users and to achieve operational efficiency.

To support the Head of Clinical Systems in working alongside clinical and non-clinical staff to develop concepts, improve functionality, determine training needs and establish protocols to ensure effective use of new and existing systems.
