Nursing Associate - Band 4

Job summary

This is a Nurse Associate position in the ADHD Adult Services within Avenue House

Full time permanent position.

To have clear knowledge and experience of working with autistic adults and Adult ADHD in community setting

Main duties of the job

Patient Care:

• • Provide client care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

  • Assist with the assessment, planning, and evaluation of patient care specifically in relation to the annual review service

Clinical Tasks:

• Perform clinical observations (e.g., weight,).

• Carry out specific procedures (e.g., ECGs) and report findings to the nurse.

Multidisciplinary Team Work:

• • Work with doctors, nurses, and other professionals to ensure coordinated care.

  • Participate in team meetings (MDTs).

Patient Education:

• Provide information and support to clients and their families about ADHD.

Safeguarding & Risk Management:

• • Report any concerns about clients safety or well-being.

Documentation:

• • Accurately record patient care in line with policies.

• Ensure confidentiality and safe storage of patient information.

  Support and Supervision:

  • Take part in training and continuous professional development.

  • Health & Safety:

• • Follow infection control and safety policies.

  • Be ready to assist in emergency situations or manage distressing events.
