This is a unique opportunity to join the Psychology Service within our Primary Care-based Mental Health and Wellbeing Service, an ambitious service established over the past 18 months. We're passionate about offering the right psychological support early on, and in this role, you'll ensure our patients can access this care at the point of need.

Main duties of the job

This is a patient facing post, so you will have a meaningful impact on improving the access, experience and outcomes for service users on a daily basis through promoting and offering early psychology assessments, formulations, brief psychological interventions and consultations in a recovery focused way. We recognise that placing specialist Psychology staff in GP practices will help people with mental health problems achieve the best possible outcomes.

This is a clinical role with some development opportunities which may include supporting our CWPT junior psychology team members; communication with our clinical directors, GPs and wider GP practice colleagues; supporting the Psychology Leads in the coordination of the day-to-day operational management needs and clinical issues arising from mental health service delivery.

You will also contribute to delivering and co-developing the primary care mental health service model. This includes care pathways for the provision of integrated mental health care within the Primary Care Networks and Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust.
