Band 5 Senior Admin Lead - Children's Physical Health Services
We are looking for an experienced Administration Manager for our Children's Physical Health Services administration team, who are pivotal team members in supporting the work to help improve health outcomes . The team work together with a large clinical team to ensure the admin processes run smoothly.
Main duties of the job
We need you to provide oversight to the roles of the administrative staff in the provision of a comprehensive administration & data co-ordination support service to the team. You will be acutely aware of maintaining confidentiality, the implications of GDPR and you will be used to managing many competing priorities on a daily basis; including supervising and supporting staff in complex administrative functions and developing and delivering administrative service changes.

To ensure service delivery is supported by an effective and efficient admin and clerical support function across all services in the building(s)
To effectively manage and supervise the admin and clerical team in order to flex to the needs of services
To oversee the development of the admin and clerical staff
To develop and implement new ways of working within the admin and clerical team in line with the strategic objectives of the Trust and the Transformational Change Programme.
To ensure service delivery is supported by fit for purpose buildings and equipment
To ensure that the Trust is optimising the use of clinical and meeting rooms to support service delivery
To deputise for the Band 6 Support Services Lead
To assist managers and clinicians with service development and project work
Provide flexible administrative and clerical cover as required. This might occasionally involve working at another base in the local area during cross cover arrangements.
*CWPT covers a wide geographical area, meaning the right candidate for this role would need to have their own independent means of transport, that they would be willing to use to travel to more than one place of work.

- Good General Education (e.g. GCSE English and Maths A-C
- QCF Team Leading Level 4 / First Line Management Level 3/4 or equivelant
Knowledge and Skills

- Excellent communication/ customer care skills both written and verbal demonstrating empathy and compassion
- Ability to manage and prioritise own and occasionally other's workload and use own initiative
- Ability to maintain relevant recording and information systems
- Understanding of working in a Admin Management role
- Ability to deal professionally with enquiries from staff, service users and stakeholders
Experience
Essential
- Experience of working with a range of Microsoft Office packages (eg. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Access)
- Relevant experience of working in Healthcare
- Relevant experience of working in a busy office/customer care environment is essential
Desirable
- Experience of working in a Children's Looked After department
